2 June 2017 (continued)
And there, very early! - Axl!
He was once again full of energy, running about as usual... He only stays still on the piano:
I had never seen Duff or Slash before... Unlike the humans. Duff looked awesome. Slash looked kinda grumpy.
Another 3 hour show The human was particularly happy to have Coma - I quote: "I can't believe I lived to see Coma live!" So, for the sake of completion, here's the setlist:
- It's So Easy
- Mr. Brownstone
- Chinese Democracy
- Welcome To The Jungle
- Double Talkin' Jive
- Better
- Estranged
- Live And Let Die
- Rocket Queen
- You Could Be Mine
- Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory / New Rose
- This I Love
- Civil War
- Black Hole Sun
- Coma
- Slash's Solo (Godfather Theme)
- Sweet Child O' Mine
- Out Ta Get Me
- Wish You Were Here
- Layla
- November Rain
- Knockin' On Heaven's Door
- Nightrain
- Patience
- Whole Lotta Rosie
- Paradise City
Black Hole Sun has been included in the european leg of the tour as a tribute to the late Chris Cornell. The humans remeber him fondly. Not really being fans, Soundgarden (then mostly unknown) opened for Guns N' Roses in '92. Cornell went about the audience in the afternoon taking pics and signing tickets...
The full lineup - Richard, Dizzy, Duff, Axl, Slash, Melissa, Frank:
Unfortunately, as it goes... "nothing lasts forever" - we had to leave...
Exiting was the same nightmare of last year. Thank the gods I wasn't actually walking. I mean, if the way was long for the poor humans, imagine what it would be like for a klicky, right!? We took 3:30 hours to get home.
Well.. I am quite dead. Next concert: AEROSMITH! (I have never seen them, though one of the humans has - before my time)
previous: April 2017
