Now, all these new parts are nice, but the real highlight of these new sets are the klickys and their "wear".

I'm not even sure where to start. I must get repeats.

The eskimo is gorgeous. He can join the group of the most beautiful "original" klickys ever (same with his cousin in the 9057 Dog Sled). I think the colors help .

I am extra happy about the polar hood in these new colors. The print isn't clear on any of them, but can easily pass as matted fur, I guess.

The others are also lovely.

The man has a beautiful shirt under that jacket. That will not do. Oh, that jacket... gorgeous with the hood.

However, whoever did the guy must have missed the beard all the way over the glasses... Still.. nice beard - I think it's new in this color, and easily fixed.

Unfortunately, the woman turned out to be a guy - I mean, she is flat chested, and we try hard to avoid that (only very few exceptions). So, we will need to fix that. And btw, can you see the print off in her eyelashes?

But more on those fixes later.

Another novelty - I love the new leg mold too:

I though the boots were the usual "space boots" with the new "fur" around, but no, it's all new.

And the gloves ... They are beautiful. Again I thought it was just a matter of color, but no - these are really different.

It's a big improvement. The old gloves always caused a struggle for the klicky to grab anything. These work much better. And did I mention they are gorgeous?

So, whoever is responsible for these gloves: congratulations!

Worth to mention (at least I only found that out now): these new gloves will not work well on old arms. The hands were bigger and the glove doesn't fit.

By the way, that is our first eskimo woman.

We do have a problem with these new ones... like the ancient indians, it just looks odd if we put the 2nd or 3rd generation with the 1st. These are the same - I am not sure how these will work with Norum's people - the old eskimo sets, I mean. We'll see. Maybe if there are enough to "mingle"?

Finally, there is her hat... Gorgeous! And looks so warm!

Now... about those fixes....

Regarding the woman having a male torso... This was not the case before - both the box pics and the catalog show a female torso under that vest - see how part of the flower is visible? That doesn't happen with the male torso.

We had decided to replace that torso anyways, because it looked odd there. However, if we couldn't easily do that, this is the sort of thing that would quite upset me.

The bearded guy only changed shirt (plain black under), and got a new beard, that works better with the glasses and vest.

Here are the torsos under those vests...

As you can see, that beautiful black torso was completely wasted under all that.

As to the other.. I thought the torso was an old one, but didn't find it in green.. however, I did find a yellow version:

My sister immediately said "garden shop employees" - she's right, and those are sorted!

So, final versions - with an added guy for that shirt:

This concludes this (somewhat long) review. A great set (minus cannon), and a must have.
