71760 Boys
(part 2/3)
5. Policeman

Another policeman, but this time he seems to be an UK variation of a very common figure - making him actually quite different than usual. Using a new head print (the moustache is new, afaik) is great.
The hat is different from previous versions - the print, I mean.

The armor is existing, but the arms are new.
I suppose the lack of a firearm is also a common UK thing.
It surprised me that he has a... pole? staff? I was expecting a common police baton, and I actually thought it was a fluke, the first one I opened.
Weird. But apparently accurate too. And since we do not lack police batons around here, a simple staff is quite useful
6. Cupid

A different idea, making for a really interesting klicky.

What I don't like is the tiny wings on him. I know, Cupid's wings aren't THAT huge, but I think a playmoversion does work better with the big ones.
Here's Cupid, played by Karl Urban (
not his evil twin Karl Urban, who plays Caesar, Julius Caesar) with his mom Aphrodite, played by Alexandra Tydings, in Xena: Warrior Princess (and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, of course).
I am not overly fond of the hair, but it actually works.
The torso tattoo stands out - such a fun one. A shame he's a speedo - I mean for reuse of the tattooed torso, a speedo is obviously proper for Cupid.
The arm tattoo is also nice.

Anyways, even if I don't find the wings proper for him, they are great, and white. The quiver in gold is also awesome (the arrows were inside in the pack). Though not new, it's uncommon.

With valentine around, I was made aware of a old gif - and.. well.. it's HIM!

The gif has the arm tattoo on the left, instead of the right (speedo arms are left+right

.. and gendered

)

A shame he wasn't done like that - but that'd be a new torso with pegs, I guess... and... no idea how to make it work with the quiver.
A pity that was not produced, regardless. There are only female speedo quivers. I find the figure's loincloth with the quiver way less appropriate for him. Though.. a white loincloth IS great. After all, pyramids don't build themselves.
The little wings came bagged AND rubberbanded. GAH. Look at the size of that bag!
7. Ghost Pirate

Another ghost pirate, with the same legs - I don't find those very appropriate for a pirate.

He's the glow in the dark sort, but I rarely pay any attention to that
The arm is really not a good match for the head. Should have been in the same material..
I do love the hair and beard...

One of the heads was misprinted, with the eyes not centered in the head
The jacket and hat are dark metal. A bit of an odd choice. Still... I like it.

The sword is new, I think. The color I mean.
I thought he is the same as the other ghost pirate, but the colors are a bit different..
8. Robot

This one takes the weirdo prize in the series - which is amazing, considering the Space Fighter
Very original. Interesting.
The torso reminds me of an old windows screensaver..

So, a robot controlled by a fish in a screensaver mode? No idea.
A portuguese collector mentioned a
Carmichael, from
The Umbrella Academy. I never watched it, but a quick google search revealed that though the head is spot on, that character seems to be mostly in a business suit.

I don't really like that cannon arm... looks off in a klicky. I find his other arm is very nice.
The
hair is that
bald one first used for 007's ....
Oddjob (had to look it up

).

I really like the wrist thingie and the projectile.

It comes with an extra paper, rubberbanded (WHY?)....

.... with the usual useless warning about the shooting.
