6840 Boys
(part 2/3)
5. Elf Warrior
One of the highlights since we first saw the pics!
I think they saw everyone's elvish work about?
The colors are GREAT and the shiny look gives him a more.. magical look. The green-gold of the "metal" parts is a great achievement. Gorgeous gorgeous work.
The hair sculpt is perfect. I THINK blonde would be somewhat more appropriate, but nothing wrong with red.
The printing is AMAZING. The leafy designs on the klicky, besides being completely appropriate are beautifully done.
The only thing I would change are the legs - I don't much like the pointy knight legs, much prefering the older style sculpt. But that is me.
The details on the helmet are REALLY elvish... The neckpiece is also very pretty, but I find it hides the torso a bit much...
This one is a masterpiece.
Now, how to get me a bunch of them?
6. African Warrior
And the other love-at-first-pic... A ready made slave. I was praying (to Ares and Aphrodite, as always) that he had white undies. And this time, my wish was granted
Perfect. He is GORGEOUS - except THAT hair (though this WAS its original purpose, and I don't dislike it half as much on a black guy).
The hat is also nice. However, as a warrior I think he should have sandals. That would make him more amazing (thought not as perfect as a ready made slave, I suppose).
That "cloth thing" is also gorgeous. It's the kind that comes off, so it can be put on and off without popping. We're thinking of using the thing on others, doubling the amount of slaves. Hey, the pyramids didn't build themselves!
Again, the trouble will be to get a big bunch of him.
7. Tall Ghost Pirate
Meh. I never really got into the ghost pirates, and crossing one with a clown... (how did THAT happen!? forget it, I don't wanna know!!)
Have no idea what that is supposed to be. The cloak is nice. And one of them brought two extra hairs, and another a torso... These will probably be handy for customs in (slow) progress...
Oh, all the cloaks came grabbing the legs, like this:
How odd.
8. Western Smuggler
Another reedition. So, not terribly exciting. I suppose for most people he is not that recent, but he is for me.
He IS a nice klicky, quite at home at both the western or pirate themes...
