playkingdoms: playmobil® rules

First, the mandatory disclaimer:

I've been told I am sometimes harsh on my comments. Keep in mind I LOVE playmobil. It is GREAT. Without a doubt and by FAR, the GREATEST toy on the Universe. And also keep in mind that I've gotten a box (or two) of each boys and girls since the first series - meaning, despite all the "problems" I point out, they are VERY MUCH WORTH IT. We ALL know playmobil rules, so I suppose I tend to point out the problems. There are only so many ways of saying AWESOME, right?

This time I didn't get the displays. Probably for the best, actually, especially considering how poor the last versions were... Also, one less thing I will keep

The packs

The leaflets... it was the first thing noticed - they are actually back to the better quality!!

And freaks. As usual...

They are slightly smaller...

No real problem there, except not matching the older ones...

This time around, no diapers. A positive thing. Also, only three speedos present, all among the girls.

Unfortunately, there were missing and faulty parts... Including two serious ones (not counting the lousy prints).

What is someone to do without the frame? Worse, I believe this may not be obvious for the casual buyer...

As to the stump - we LOVE it. Of course if I was a cub without a box of arms I doubt I would be that happy... With reason.

And then... I suppose there is NO quality control on these, right? I mean... What's with the queen's print?

There isn't ONE acceptable print. And apparently it was a common problem all over, not just with mine.

Besides the print, one of them had this ventilated hat:

This is ridiculous, in a sad way.

One of the mechanics was missing a tool - the tool bag was actually open:

There were also a couple of missing flowers (from the Fairy and the Lady), and a paper was missing from a Woodcutter. If I was a cub and bought ONE pack and it was missing that paper... I would be very sad.

I assume the "person of interest" still has the rubber band factory?

The girls box was wildly uneven. Not a single dutch or painter. How is that possible?!

Fortunately the boys' proved even. If there were no warriors or grasshoppers, they'd probably hear me in Zirndorf.

Extra stuff

Well, we were extremely happy with the extra alien/grasshopper "hairs", obviously .. and those "fire skirts"... But we need feet. Without heels.

There were also a couple of would be cowboys missing their holster around here.. No more.
