I've been told I am sometimes harsh on my comments. Keep in mind I LOVE playmobil. It is GREAT. Without a doubt and by FAR, the GREATEST toy on the Universe. And also keep in mind that I've gotten a box (or two) of each boys and girls since the first series - meaning, despite all the "problems" I point out, they are VERY MUCH WORTH IT. We ALL know playmobil rules, so I suppose I tend to point out the problems. There are only so many ways of saying AWESOME, right?
Besides the app, the 50th logo is featured on the box, in this very important year.
The first thing I noticed is that the cardboard boxes are different. Very strange, this never happened before. It's a different sort of material - the texture and color is different. For a moment I feared maybe one of them was not Series 25... But no, all good.
The packs...
And the papers. Still the same... Crappy tiny images, further ruined by those outlines, and showing freaks.
Warning: App content WILL be revealed. Just sayin'. With that in mind, app comments here: Fi¿ures App
As to the series, there are no diapers. No speedos in the boys, but two fat guys, which is good, they can at least be mixed together. And five speedos in the girls... There are lots of gorgeous prints in this series, and they are mostly really sharp. Mostly. There are a couple of hairs that stood out as overused this time (could be I just noticed them?) - the classic v2 in the girls, and the shaggy in the boys... In this series, along with extra baggies, the rubberbands are back Worse, they were added to mess up stickers (and papers), I guess. Don't see any other point.
As is usual for a few years, there were problems. One of the Castaways brought a faulty hair. And there was a missing glove on a Snow Walker. Both came as extras in other figures, but it doesn't make it right. Also, one of the Statues had a grey coat, instead of black. Here, whatever. But if you don't have a poptub handy, the jacket does not match the arms, so you get a weird figure. As to the girls, one of the Aztecs was missing an ankle thingie. Not a serious issue here, though I believe the part is new - the color. The red does not match the ancient indian ones.
Well, you know how it works: follow all the pages to see everything, or use these shortcuts for a specific figure:
