First, the mandatory disclaimer:
I've been told I am sometimes harsh on my comments. Keep in mind I LOVE playmobil. It is GREAT. Without a doubt and by FAR, the GREATEST toy on the Universe. And also keep in mind that I've gotten a box (or two) of each boys and girls since the first series - meaning, despite all the "problems" I point out, they are VERY MUCH WORTH IT. We ALL know playmobil rules, so I suppose I tend to point out the problems. There are only so many ways of saying AWESOME, right?

Besides the app, the 50th logo is featured on the box, in this very important year.

A strong series, though with a couple of less interesting figures. From the first pics, the Sami couple stood out, obviously ... along with the Aztec and the Valkyrie in the girls...

The first thing I noticed is that the cardboard boxes are different. Very strange, this never happened before. It's a different sort of material - the texture and color is different. For a moment I feared maybe one of them was not Series 25... But no, all good.

The girls display was mangled... A corner all torn. Later, with an empty box I figured out why - it was not properly assembled. This sucks.

The packs...

And the papers. Still the same... Crappy tiny images, further ruined by those outlines, and showing freaks.

And including the app codes - useless for ages until the app was updated. I know some people who were very disappointed.

Warning: App content WILL be revealed. Just sayin'. With that in mind, app comments here: Fi¿ures App

As to the series, there are no diapers. No speedos in the boys, but two fat guys, which is good, they can at least be mixed together. And five speedos in the girls...

There are lots of gorgeous prints in this series, and they are mostly really sharp. Mostly.

There are a couple of hairs that stood out as overused this time (could be I just noticed them?) - the classic v2 in the girls, and the shaggy in the boys...

In this series, along with extra baggies, the rubberbands are back Worse, they were added to mess up stickers (and papers), I guess. Don't see any other point.

The extras...

A few mandatory frames. And it's amazing to get four of those hairs - not as common as THAT hair, though at least just as... unpretty. The bag is from the Hamburger Vendor - it contains the buns and it's folded (and rubberbanded ) around the sticker.

The baby's print is kinda messed up.

The Sami skirt is a really nice extra, though I don't think there are extra legs for that type of skirt around here. The female speedo torso is also nice - though two may be too many (hey, it says "playmobil" - I know, I am SOOO easy. )

And now I feel sort of compelled to buy the parts to complete those little cars...

The strange piece of flesh is a mystery.

As is usual for a few years, there were problems. One of the Castaways brought a faulty hair. And there was a missing glove on a Snow Walker. Both came as extras in other figures, but it doesn't make it right.

Also, one of the Statues had a grey coat, instead of black. Here, whatever. But if you don't have a poptub handy, the jacket does not match the arms, so you get a weird figure.

As to the girls, one of the Aztecs was missing an ankle thingie. Not a serious issue here, though I believe the part is new - the color. The red does not match the ancient indian ones.

Well, you know how it works: follow all the pages to see everything, or use these shortcuts for a specific figure:
